In a field, because all the usual camp sites were already booked. Some had got bookings more than three years ago!
The field was next to a drag racing strip – it was the only one in Wyoming, but closed at the end of 2015
We have new neighbours:
Walking we disturbed a sole Pronghorn, but this time Tim managed to get a picture.
We had waited until 5pm to go for a walk because it was still feeling very hot, but were very surprised as we walked back to see the thermometer readings.
But actually another only said 90F, well for almost 6:30 pm that was still plenty hot enough, and definitely cooler than it was earlier when we started walking.
