We again walked to the station and caught the train into Denver. This is a new station serving an area that is only just being built, the Panasonic building seems to currently be the only thing in Panasonic way. The route from the hotel took us across an area where the infrastructure for a lot of development has been put in place, with road junctions, footpaths leading nowhere and fire hydrants in the midst of an open space. It would be interesting to know what the area looks like in a few years time.
We went to the Botanical Gardens, having had the added incentive of Calder sculptures.
The gardens were not vast, but had been well laid out with intertwining paths through different types of gardens.
We were very pleased to find this was a glass sculpture and not a plant.
We then walked across the park to the Museum of Nature & Science which has the most amazing collection of wildlife dioramas …. but the lighting level was far to low to get a good picture.

It’s very thrilling to ‘accompany’ you on your adventures! Thank you for sharing. The architecture in New York is amazing – I went there in 1973 and remember, in particular, the Flatiron building, but also the incredible height and density of the skyscrapers. Glad you’re finding good beer and food!
Look forward to the rest of your journey.
Lovely, I am green with envy. Yours, Beverley
So good to be able to follow your adventure. David is very impressed with the size of that vehicle.X
I was impressed with Tims shorts!
